YOUNGSTERS who attend a Wellingborough nursery are developing their sporting skills at special sessions held every week.

Staff from Mini Strikers visit Kiddi Caru every Monday to hold sporting tutor sessions.

Youngsters learn how to perfect their ball skills and co-ordination through special activities.

They also play football, basketball, tennis and rugby during the sessions.

Nursery deputy manager Alysha Bannister said: “Staff from Mini Strikers come in to the nursery every Monday.

“The children take part in the activities from the age of two and they really enjoy it. It really brings them on.

“They do balance games, play with bats and balls.

“They also take part in basketball, rugby, football and tennis activities.”
