Northamptonshire roadworks: Coming to a road near you

A list of roadworks planned for the next few weeks has been released, with a number of projects in the north of the county due to get under way.

Residents and motorists are being asked to be aware of the following planned schemes:

MAJOR ROADS

Corby Uppingham Road (A6003) o/s Water Towers - two-way traffic signals in operation from 9.30am to 3pm for safety during resurfacing of farm track entrance - January 6

Wellingborough Midland Road at junction with Victoria Road - three-way traffic signals in operation from 9.30am to 3pm for tree trimming works - January 12

OTHER ROADS

Deene Gretton Road - 24-hour two-way traffic signals for mainlaying works - January 22 to 24 and February 3

Denford/Thrapston Midland Road, Denford Road, Oakleas Rise and Hawthorn Drive - 24-hour two and three-way traffic signals for works to install new supply. Lights will only be on one location at any one time - February 12 to April 8

Holcot Main Street, near Walgarth Court - 24-hour two-way traffic signals for service repairs - January 6 to 8

Irthlingborough Addington Road near numbers 251/266 - 24-hour two-way traffic signals for removal of pole - January 7

Kettering Bath Road at junction of Avondale Road, Bath Street and Regent Street - 24-hour four-way traffic signals for works to repair/replace mains fittings - January 9 to Jan 13

Polebrook Oundle Road at junction with Red Lodge Road - 24-hour three-way traffic signals for installation of new water supply - January 8 to 10

Rothwell Harrington Road, outside number 73 - 24-hour two-way traffic signals for mainlaying works - January 13 to 17

Rushden Washbrook Road near number 74 - 24-hour two-way traffic signals for installation of new service - February 3 and 4

Wellingborough Chester Road, 20m from junction with Colwell Road - 24-hour two-way traffic signals for mainlaying works - February 3 to 7

LANE CLOSURES

Rushden A6 bypass northbound from John Clark Way to junction of Kimbolton Road - Rolling lane closure in operation from 9am to 4pm for cable laying - January 13 to March 8

ROAD CLOSURES

Wellingborough, Irthlingborough Ditchford Lane - Temporary Road Closure - Investigation of traffic signal equipment - January 18

Wellingborough, Irthlingborough Ditchford Lane - Temporary Road Closure - Replacing traffic signal equipment including ducting works - March 3 and 16
