It’s been a wet day in Northamptonshire today, with more rain expected over the weekend.
Experts at Pitsford Hall weather station say any remaining showers will die away this evening and everywhere will become dry overnight.
But the weekend is set to be a wet one.
A spokesman for the weather station said: “Following a dry start, further showers are expected to developing through Saturday and as the day wears on these will tend to become heavier and more widespread.
“Temperature-wise it will be similar to today with highs reaching 19C. Winds will be light and from the south.
“The showers will tend to die down during the evening and then most places will remain dry with lows falling to around 15C.
“However, outbreaks of rain are expected to move up from the south by dawn on Sunday and then will continue on and off throughout much of the day.
“Highs of 16C with winds light and variable. Overnight lows will fall to around 14C.”
