A county firm has recently employed almost 100 people after winning new business contracts.

Novacroft, which is based in Pitsford, recently appointed 96 new employees into roles within its contact centre this month.

The business designs, develops, and manages smart card ticketing solutions within the transport industry, with clients including Transport for London, the Association of Train Operating Companies, and local authorities.

The added numbers will help with an expected increase in calls as the public make plans to travel around the country to the major sporting events this month.

The company’s commerical operations director, David Messiter, said: “Novacroft is proud to be bringing significant new business to Northamptonshire and to be playing a part in the growth of the region.

“We are excited about the opportunities our new contracts will bring to Novacroft and the local community – our offices are buzzing with excitement and we look forward to welcoming the new faces.”
