Following the closure of Desborough’s Hawthorns Leisure Centre, the town’s firework night is to take place at a different venue, organisers have announced.
The show will now take place at the new leisure centre which opened in May in Ironwood Avenue, on Sunday, November 4.
Organiser Michael Crick said: “We pleased to be keeping our association with the leisure centre and Parkwood Leisure and hope everyone will still support us at our new venue”
Gates will open at 5pm with the display at 6.45pm, and the show will be done by pyro company 1605 Fireworks.
Admission is £4 adults and £3 children. There will be a mini fairground, hot food stalls and a fancy dress competition with entries on the night needed by 6pm.
