New volunteer street pastors, who will be on patrol in towns across the county, have been commissioned in a service at the Central Methodist Church in Kettering.

The pastors are all volunteers and are drawn from about 20 local churches.

They aim to bring peace to the streets, and to care for, listen to and help those they encounter at night.
