A new adventure club for deaf and disabled people across the county has been launched following a successful pilot scheme.
Participants will be able to take part in activities including rock climbing, canoeing and winter sports.
The group, iDID Northampton, which was launched earlier this month, meets on a Sunday morning.
Its director, Susanne Rees, who is profoundly deaf, said: “I’m passionate in my belief everyone should have access to these sports.
“Adventure sports provide a radical alternative to traditional sporting pastimes, offering an opportunity for individuals to improve their problem-solving skills and independent thinking and allows them to take risks in a safe environment.”
