Musicians who can play the cymbals, side drum, marching bell and concert flute are invited to join the Irthlingborough-based Waterloo Drummers marching band.
The group, which formed four years ago, performs at local carnivals and events.
Meetings take place at Huxlow Science Academy in Irthlingborough from 6pm to 8pm on Mondays.
Membership is open to young people and adults and instruments and equipment is provided.
Anyone who can play a percussion or woodwind instrument is also welcome to join, and training is available for non-players.
Bandmaster John Mander said: “We have 25 dedicated musicians and dancers and have performed throughout Northamptonshire during 2012. We have a great group of young people and adults – they are really enthusiastic and put in a lot of rehearsal time.
“We are a community-based group run by volunteers and have developed an interesting style, which is a combination of traditional flutes, bell-lyres and drums with the added attraction of modern rhythms. We also have an all-girl Colour Guard which is quite unique in a Corps of our type.”
