The Co-op has unveiled its refurbished food store in Raunds.

The store has been given a makeover to provide customers with an improved shopping experience, the company says.

The transformation sees the introduction of a brighter store with a feature display of fine wines and a wider selection of products including ‘Pick of the Crop’ offering seasonal fruit and vegetables full of flavour; and new refrigeration featuring the latest in technology to minimise environmental impact.

Team leader Katie Carvell said: “There was a great atmosphere on relaunch day, as we gave out special customer offers and showed off our new-look store to the local community.

“I’d like to thank our customers for their patience during the refurbishment, and I hope they enjoy their new store as much as we do.”

The Raunds store is open from 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday, and also offers Collect Plus, Paypoint, Lottery, a free cash machine and a free car park.
