New entrance to Wellingborough School opened

Wellingborough School’s new entrance has been officially opened.

The new gates on London Road were declared open by guest of honour Penelope Escombe, Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Northamptonshire, who cut a ribbon to mark the opening on May 29.

In honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the gates will be known as be known as the Jubilee Gates.
