A new disco has been launched in Corby for disabled people and their carers and families.
It is held at the Grapian Club in Patrick Road and the next one is on Sunday, October 26, from 4pm until 7pm.
Organised by Corby Radio, one of the station’s presenters, Mick Mitchell provides the disco.
Terri Meechan, one of the organisers of Discobility, said: “There was a gap in the market in Corby and disabled people in the town were having to go to Northampton.
“We’ve held two discos so far and more people are coming along each time.”
Tickets are £6 on the door and there is no admission charge for carers, siblings and parents.
The disco is for people of any age and there is wheelchair access at the club.
