A recruitment fair is being held in Corby to fill vacancies at a new school being built in the town.
Corby Primary Academy, sponsored by the Greenwood Dale Foundation Trust, will open in temporary accommodation in September while work continues on the new school.
The recruitment fair is being held on Wednesday, May 8, from 3.30pm until 7pm.
Teaching jobs for Year 1 and Year 2 are available, as well as positions for learning assistants and people to work in reception, the school office and finance.
The school is also recruiting a caretaker and midday supervisory assistants.
The recruitment fair is being held at Kingswood Primary Academy, Southbrook, Corby, which is also under the sponsorship of the Greenwood Dale Foundation Trust.
Work has started on the refurbishment of the old Exeter Junior School in Corby to create four classrooms, a hall, dining facilities, offices, play space and car parking for Corby Primary Academy.
A spokesman for the trust said: “This temporary building and all its facilities will be separate from the Exeter Primary School. The construction of the new building is underway and is due to be completed in September 2014.”
