People over 40 are invited to join a new Corby club promising fun and a chance to stay active.
Corby Council is launching the Active Agers Club on Monday, September 9, from 10am to midday at West Glebe Pavilion.
Cllr John McGhee, lead member for community, said: “Light-hearted sessions like these are a great way to motivate the public into doing something that will not only introduce them to new things and allow them to develop their skills, but it will also benefit their body, contributing to a healthy and active lifestyle.
“I urge residents to come along and see what skills they can pick up from some fun and informal activities.”
Sessions, costing £4, will be held every Monday and offer people the chance to enjoy boccia, bowls and new age kurling and tai chi.
There is no need to book and light refreshments are included in the price.
