A new cafe bar will be welcoming its first customers through the doors tomorrow (Wednesday).
Paletto Lounge is opening in Corporation Street, Corby, after the Loungers chain invested £500,000 to transform the town centre site.
The new cafe bar has created 20 jobs for people in the area and bosses hope it will be a ‘retro home from home’ for its customers with dramatic artwork, oversized vintage sofas and statement light fittings.
Operations manager for Loungers, Craig Williams, said: “Corby is the perfect location for our Lounge concept.
“There’s already a thriving and vibrant community and we’re really looking forward to playing our part.
“Residents will be served by the very best - our new team is passionate about hospitality.
“Our excellent pre-opening and ‘on the job’ training programme ensures our staff will be at the top of their game.”
The team at Paletto Lounge is looking forward to becoming part of the community and has said it will support local groups and initiatives wherever possible.
A community notice board is available for anyone wanting to publicise events and a book swap area is kept well stocked.
The team will also be holding regular fundraising events as part of Loungers’ commitment to making a difference in the community.
Bosses say Paletto Lounge will cater for all tastes throughout the day, including popping in for coffee, a business lunch with colleagues or a lazy all-day brunch.
The menu features tapas, burgers, Tin Pan Louie’s beef chilli, packed flatbreads and mac and cheese as well as items from the specials board.
There is also a menu for children.
