A man had jewellery stolen from him while wearing it in a bookmakers.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft which took place at about 1pm yesterday (Thursday) in William Hill Bookmakers, Rockingham Road, Kettering.

Two men went in to the bookmakers and distracted the victim.

While he was distracted they stole a gold necklace with a crucifix that he was wearing.

The offenders were Mediterranean-looking, average build and early 40s.

One offender was about 5ft 11in with black hair and the other male was slightly shorter.
