One motorist was caught doing 86mph in a 50mph zone during a crackdown on speeding on the A43 near Corby.
Officers found 95 vehicles breaking the speed limit during a two-hour session on the stretch of the A43 at Barford Bridge.
They carried out the speed checks after receiving complaints about speeding in the area from members of the public.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: “We held a speed enforcement session for two hours on Tuesday at Barford Bridge near Corby.
“During the operation, a total of 95 vehicles were found to be speeding in a 50mph zone, with the highest recorded at 86mph.
“All of the offences are now being processed and the majority will be fined.

“Those recorded at the higher speeds will however be dealt with in court.
“This is the first time we have carried out an operation in this location and we made the decision to hold one here following complaints about speeding from members of the public.
“Following today’s results, we will hold more operations here in the future.”
