Three people have appeared in court charged with the murder of Glenn Clary in Irthlingborough at the weekend.
Mr Clary, 60, of Garden Field Close, was discovered dead at a house in Crouch Road, Irthlingborough, on Sunday.
John James York, 22, from Crouch Road, Irthlingborough, was brought into the dock at Corby Magistrates’ Court at about 10.45am. He had a moustache and a tattoo on his forearm.
He is charged with murder, and the section-18 wounding, false imprisonment and robbery of a 26-year-old man in a separate incident on Saturday, August 18.
White-haired Gary Monaghan, 64, also of Crouch Road, followed York and spoke to him as they stood in the dock. He stooped and looked frail as he listened to what was said.
He faces one charge of murder.
Jennifer Louise Ryan, 46, of Baker Street, Irthlingborough, is charged with murder, a section-18 wounding and false imprisonment.
All three wore standard-issue black clothing and were handcuffed separately to officers.
Their case was sent straight to crown court where they will appear next month.
