A Kettering mum who beat breast cancer took part in a special fundraising event to help out a charity close to her heart.

Natasha Goodman and her children Richard, 6, and Isabella, 17 months, joined in with Styled By A Child, which was run nationally by the charity Breast Cancer Now and gave the youngsters a chance to let their imaginations run riot and dress their mum.

Natasha was diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago and underwent a lumpectomy, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

She is now well and says she is eager to share her story far and wide, as well as raising awareness of breast cancer and funds for breast cancer research.

Natasha said: “As a family we loved taking part in Styled by a Child. Not only does it create whacky memories with your children, but it’s also a fun way to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.

“My son enjoyed it very much, telling his dad he was going to ‘dress me silly’! He most certainly had a loud laugh, and could tell he was really thinking about how silly he could make me look!”
