Tracey Clutton, of Kettering, is calling for eye tests to be part of the back-to-school routine after her son Josh was diagnosed with amblyopia, meaning the sight in his right eye has not developed properly.

Tracey is backing the Children’s Eye Health Campaign launched by the Association of Optometrists and supported by county-based Davis Optometrists.

Tracey said: “It’s definitely worth getting checked from a young, young age.”
