The westbound carriageway of the A14 will be closed between Junction 2 of the A14 and Junction 19 of the M1 on Friday night (January 9) as the Highways Agency continues to work to improve the Catthorpe junction.

The agency says the closure is necessary to allow the traffic management to be changed enabling the scheme to progress to the next stage with construction of the direct M6 to A14 link road which will run under the M1.

The closure takes place between 9pm and 8am. The A14 westbound will be closed between Junction 2 and the Catthorpe junction. Diversions will be signposted.
