MORE people have been arrested in the county this morning on suspicion of drugs offences.
Last month drugs raids were carried out across the county which resulted in 11 people being arrested.
Today three men from Northamptonshire have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
The three are in custody at Weston Favell station where they will be interviewed today.
An amount of money was seized during the raids and small quantities of what is believed to be cocaine.
Detective Inspector Mark Brayfield, of the East Midlands Special Operations Unit for Serious Organised Crime, said: “This is the second part of the enforcement phase of our ongoing investigation and shows our dedication and commitment to tracking down serious and organised criminals to protect our communities by ensuring these individuals are brought to justice.”
“We would appeal to any members of the public concerned or affected by drugs in their community to contact us on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.”
