An Irchester Primary School pupil was top of the class after winning a national writing competition.
Year 6 pupil Megan Brown, 10, won the Shakespeare 4 Kidz writing competition after submitting a 140-character review of a Romeo and Juliet play.
She went to see the performance with her classmates from the school recently. After her entry was judged to be the best, Megan won an iPad.
Teacher Rebecca Scott said Megan was delighted to have won the competition.
She said: “We entered the Year 5 and 6 children through the school after we went to see Romeo and Juliet. They had to write a review of the play in 140 characters, which included punctuation and grammar.”
