People have been encouraged to attend a meeting at Kettering Hospital on Thursday, October 3 to discuss health and social care issues.
The meeting, organised by Healthwatch Northamptonshire – an independent consumer body monitoring for people using health and social care in the county – will also scrutinise plans to improve the quality of care at the hospital.
It takes place at Kettering Conference Centre from 10am.
Clare Culpin, Acting Chief Executive at the hospital, will be in attendance to talk about the Trust’s action plan agreed with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following the action taken earlier in the year.
Rosie Newbigging, Chief Executive Officer at Healthwatch Northamptonshire said “We will be moving our regular meetings around the county to enable local people to attend so they are able to share their views on local health and social care issues. This will help shape the decisions which Healthwatch Northamptonshire will take on behalf of local people.”
