A public meeting is being held in Corby on Monday (February 17) to update residents on plans for a multi-million pound cinema development.
Town centre director Dan Pickard will be speaking to residents about the £10m proposal to build a Vue cinema and restaurants on the site of the former Crown House in Elizabeth Street.
Helical Bar, owner of the shopping centre, has submitted a planning application for the scheme to Corby Council.
The proposal includes an eight-screen cinema, five restaurants, a store, gym, two new lifts connecting Market Walk to the ground level, a car repairs and MOT centre and a 515-space car park.
Helical Bar says the scheme will transform the town centre and create much-needed jobs.
The meeting, organised by Centara Neighbourhood Association, is being held at Stuart Road Community Centre, Corby, starting at 6.30pm.
