A fundraising football match is being held at the home of Finedon Volta this Sunday (October 19).
The match will feature two teams wearing the strips of England and Italy and it is being played to raise money for Kettering Hospital’s special baby care unit and to buy a new headstone for former Kettering woman Marisa Montalbetti, who died in 2007.
The match kicks off at 2pm.
Charlene Jeffcoat, one of the organisers, said: “My auntie Marisa was a well-known and respected member of the Kettering community. On the day we will be holding a raffle with some brilliant prizes including Saints tickets. We have also had football cards made which we shall be selling on the day, we will have a bouncy castle and the grounds have a fully licensed bar.”
