A ladies’ pamper day has been held at a Kettering church to raise money for Cransley Hospice.

The fundraiser, which took place at St Michael’s Church today (Saturday, November 2), included a range of treatments.

Organisers say the event is also a chance to treat some of the volunteers who help raise money for the London Road hospice throughout the year.

Cransley fundraiser Debbie Grant said: “It’s nice for our supporters, and we all like a bit of therapy.

“The therapists who come do it at half the price they would usually do it for – they are donating half their fee to us.

“They’re doing massages like back, shoulders, Thai foot massages, reflexology and Indian head massages.”
