Last weekend saw the joining in matrimony of Nelly, an English bulldog, and Compo, a springer spaniel, at Kitz Katz cattery.
The cattery in Stoke Albany Road, Desborough, has been offering wedding ceremonies since 2009.
Pet owners can have a wedding ceremony, cake and a marriage certificate, and they can even choose to make the day extra special by arriving in a limousine and bringing caterers in for a pet wedding breakfast.
The weddings take place under a pagoda in the garden, and pets can walk down the aisle and across a small bridge before getting to bark, or miaow, their I dos.
Animals of different species can marry each other, and it is possible to have other animals as guests to witness the special day.
Our photographer Jamie Lorriman went along to last weekend’s ceremony.
If you would like to buy any pictures from the event call the Telegraph on 01536 506100.
