Fiona Wise has become interim chief executive for the second time, having taken on the role for six months in 2013-14.

She replaces acting chief executive Clare Culpin, who is leaving the trust in March to become managing director of Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals.

Mrs Wise will take on the role from the beginning of March.

Current chief executive David Sissling remains absent from the trust on sick leave following a medical emergency.

The trust’s director of finance, Kish Sidhu, has left to pursue other opportunities within the NHS.

Nicci Briggs – the trust’s director of transformation and previous deputy director of finance – will be acting director of finance and transformation until the trust is able to recruit to the post of finance director.

Acting chief executive Clare Culpin said: “Kettering General Hospital remains strongly led by some very experienced and talented NHS professionals.
