Thieves forced their way into the house of a 62-year-old man and tied his hands and feet together while they searched for cash.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the robbery which happened on September 25 at about 1.30pm in Rockingham Road, Kettering, near to the roundabout with Chiltern Road.
The victim answered a knock at his front door and two men pushed their way into the house, pushed him to the floor and tied his hands and feet together.
After demanding to know where there was money, the men searched the house and took an amount of cash and a camera.
The first offender was a white man in his 20s, who wore a white hooded top and blue jeans and the second was a darker-skinned man who wore a grey hooded top and a dark woollen hat with a woollen scarf covering his nose and mouth.
Detective Inspector Ali Reynolds said: “Rockingham Road would have been busy at this time of the day and we would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area - such as men of this description hanging around on foot or sitting in a vehicle.”
