Man threatened and robbed in Corby

A man was threatened before being chased for cash in Corby.

The 18-year-old victim withdrew some cash from the Post Office in the Co-op in Alexandra Road, Corby, sometime between 11am and 11.45am on Wednesday, August 15.

As he was leaving the shop, a man asked him for a cigarette and then demanded money from him, threatening him.

The victim ran across Oasis Retail car park, followed by the offender who caught him and stole money from him before running down the alleyway leading into the town centre, towards Iceland.

The offender was a 6ft 1in white man of medium build with tanned skin, about 20-years-old, with short brown spiked hair and wore a grey jacket with white sleeves.
