Man stabbed during Wellingborough robbery attempt

A man was stabbed in the leg during a robbery attempt in Wellingborough.

The victim was approached by three men in Strode Road, one of whom produced a knife and demanded he empty his pockets. As he ran away, he was stabbed in the leg.

Police are now appealing for witnesses following the incident that happened at around 11pm on Saturday, December 14.

The offender is described as a white man, of medium to stocky build, wearing a black sports jacket with a hood and a blue scarf. The two other men wore darker clothes and were of slimmer build.
