A member of the public was badly injured after being attacked by a dog in the grounds of Hall Park, Rushden.
The victim was injured in the unprovoked attack which took place at about 1.30pm on Saturday, February 22.
A spokesman for Rushden Town Council said: “The attack has left a member of the public with serious injuries resulting in hospitalisation.

A police spokesman said the incident had been reported to them and the male victim was taken to Kettering General Hospital for treatment.
Officers went out to the scene after the attack but could not locate the animal responsible.
The spokesman said the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, but would appeal for any witnesses to the attack to contact them on 101.
