Man has wallet and mobile phone robbed in Wellingborough street

A man had his wallet and mobile phone robbed from him in a Wellingborough street.

A 24-year-old man was walking along the road when he was stopped by two men who asked for a cigarette. The victim was then threatened and told to empty his pockets.

The offenders stole his wallet and mobile phone.

The robbery happened in Midland Road, Wellingborough, at around 9.25pm on Monday, September 9.

The first offender is described as white, 5ft 10in, aged 20-25, clean shaven, wearing a dark hat and light hooded top. He had an Irish accent.

The second offender is described as white, 5ft 9in, aged 20-25, wearing a dark hat, light grey hooded top and green gloves.
