Man charged over Wellingborough knife attack

A man has been charged following a knife attack in Wellingborough last week which left the victim with facial injuries.

The charges relate to an incident outside the Swansgate Centre at about 4pm on Wednesday, August 17, where a fight broke out between two men.

One man was left with facial injuries, believed to have been caused by a knife.

A police spokesman said Wisniewski was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Northampton Crown Court on September 5.
