Man attacked in Corby town centre

A man was attacked in Corby town centre near McDonald’s restaurant.

The assault happened on Sunday, July 14, between 4.50am and 5.10am, in George Street, near the zebra crossing.

A police spokesman said: “A man came out of McDonald’s in George Street. Two other men also came out of the restaurant and one of them punched the first man in the face.”

The attacker was white, aged about 30, 5ft 9ins tall, muscular, with a shaven head. He was wearing black trousers and a white shirt.

Witnesses are asked to call the police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
