A 24-year-old man was punched and left cut and bruised during an attempted robbery in Corby.
The victim was walking through an alleyway connecting Berwick Court and Bonington Walk when he was confronted by a man and a boy.
They punched the man, who fell to the ground, and his mobile phone fell out of his pocket.
One of the offenders tried to steal the phone but failed and the pair continued to attack the victim before running away.
One attacker is about 30, 6ft 2in, with black hair with a long fringe. He was wearing a white or grey hooded top with a logo on the front and light tracksuit bottoms.
The boy is about 15, 5ft 6in and very slim. He was wearing jeans and two jackets, a white winter jacket and a red jacket.
The attempted robbery took place on Tuesday, January 14, between 7am and 8am
