A 24-year-old man needed hospital treatment after being attacked by a large group of men as he walked home from a night out in Wellingborough.

The man was in the area of Kiln Way and Queensway at about 5am on Saturday, May 16, when he was attacked.

A police spokesman said: “He was knocked to the ground by the men and seriously assaulted.

“The attack left him in need of hospital treatment.”
