Man assaulted during road rage attack in Kettering

A 58-year-old man was assaulted during a road rage incident in Northfield Avenue, Kettering.

The victim was approaching a roundabout between 1.20pm and 1.40pm on Tuesday, January 13, in a green Ford Focus when another car pulled in front of him, causing him to stop suddenly and hit his head on the steering wheel in the process.

The victim got out of his car to check no damage had been caused, at which point the driver of the other car got out and started shouting at him. The offender then grabbed hold of the victim and pushed him up against his car.

The offender then got into his car and made off.

He was white, about 5ft 10in and between 35 and 40 years old. He was muscular, with dark, greying hair, stubble and with a pale complexion and was wearing a dark coloured top.
