A man suffered a fractured jaw when he was attacked outside a Corby shop.

The 34-year-old victim was assaulted outside the Nisa convenience store in Studfall Avenue.

A police spokesman said: “The man tied up his three dogs outside the shop before going in. When he returned to his dogs, a woman was making a fuss of them. A man approached the victim and assaulted him, fracturing his jaw.

“We would particularly like to speak to a woman who helped the victim following the assault.”

Witnesses are asked to contact the police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
