Man, 20, injured in fight resulting from argument in taxi to Corby

A man who shared a taxi back to Corby got into an argument with fellow passengers – which eventually led to him suffering serious facial injuries in an assault.

The 20-year-old was in the taxi from Rockingham Road in Kettering in the early hours of Sunday, July 13, when an argument broke out.

The passengers got out near the water tower in Willow Brook Road, Corby, at about 5am.

Once out of the car the victim was assaulted.

Northamptonshire Police have said they want to speak to anyone who might have witnessed the incident or have any information regarding it. They would also like to speak to the taxi driver who drove the men from Kettering to Corby.
