People are invited to seek help to make a will at an information session being held by Lakelands Hospice, Corby.
The event is on Monday, November 12, from 9am until midday, at the hospice in Butland Road.
The will-writing session is being provided in conjunction with local solicitors who offer the service at a reduced cost.
A spokesman for the hospice said: “A solicitor will be on hand to help people update and write their will and to answer any questions they may have on inheritance tax, changes to an existing will and power of attorney.
“A private consultation room is available in 30-minute slots or, if people prefer, they can arrange to discuss more confidential issues at a later date or at their home.
“Legacy income is vital to the survival of charities and people could help safeguard the future of Lakelands Hospice by remembering it in their will.
“No matter how small their gift is, they will make a real difference. We really rely on the gifts and legacies that are left by our supporters.”
Anyone who would like to attend the will-writing session is asked to call 01536 747755.
