A road accident involving two cars has shut a major route into Corby.
Firefighters from Rutland and Northamptonshire are on the scene helping to treat the four car passengers involved.
The road is shut at its junction with the B672 Lyddington Road junction and traffic is very slow in both directions.
Police are on the scene directing traffic and the advice is to use the A47 / A43 route from Uppingham and the north to get to Corby and the south.
The same road was shut last month when a bus crashed into a wall. That damage is being repaired this week.
