ONE lucky rugby fan was sky high when she won her dream prize to fly with three Northampton Saints players at Sywell Airfield.
Hannah Ayres, 18, of Northampton, bid for the prize during a charity auction in aid of the Saints Academy and the Royal Airforce Association yesterday.
Lucky Hannah got to fly alongside three award-winning players from the team in the famous aerobatic aircrafts, The Blades.
She joined Ben Foden, George Pisi and Alex Waller who all also took to the skies on the day.
All three were asked to take part in the event after winning awards from the club in recognition of their efforts during the last season.
Foden won try of the year, George Pisi won player’s player and Alex Waller won young player of the year.
A spokesman for the event said: “None of them had ever flown in anything like that before.
“For Hannah it was a double whammy because she was able to look over at the players as they were in the air.
“They were all passengers in their individual planes, sitting at the front of their aircrafts.
“They started off in a formation and did loops.
“Hannah had a really good time.”
