A little boy managed to fit 72 different items into a matchbox as part of a challenge set by his nursery.
The First Friends Day Nursery in Rushden challenged its children to see how much sponsorship they could raise by taking part in a contest to see how many things they could fit into a matchbox.
The winner was Jacob Monk, three, and in total the children raised nearly £700 for the nursery.
Nursery manager Faye Beck said: “Nearly all our children took part in the challenge and some of the parents got quite competitive.
“All the items had to be different so the children had to be very creative. They put in things like grains of rice, stamps and sim cards.”
Jacob received a gift voucher from The Castle theatre for a family pass to see a film.
The nursery is spending the money raised on a wooden pirate galleon for an outdoor play area.
