A TALENTED young expert showed off her skills to classmates as part of a school’s Olympic celebrations.

Barton Seagrave Primary School pupil Lily Mawby, 10, demonstrated her horse M&M to the school on Friday as part of its Olympic week.

It was part of the primary school’s own opening ceremony for their take on the Olympic Games.

The school has also recorded a song, Be The Best You Can Be, a joint project with Latimer Community Arts College.

The school is taking part in activities all week, including an outing to Kettering athletics track, a torch relay, competitions with other schools and a zumba event.

It was awarded £6,600 to host Olympic-themed games in the community by the London 2012 Olympics education programme, Get Set.
