TWO students from a Corby school have been selected to take part in Jam in the Hood, a community project that demonstrates aspects of policing to young people.
Brooke Weston students Zara Green and Isaac Aitchison will take part in the event, which has previously included behind-the-scenes tour of police stations and force headquarters, as well as visits to the dog handling and helicopter sections. A highlight last year was a CSI-style forensic investigation into a simulated murder.
PCSO Alex Franklin said: “The aim is to give young people an insight into what goes on in the community. They will become an extended part of the police family.”
