The Royal British Legion will be offering help and support to members of the Armed Forces and their families at new drop-in sessions at Corby Cube.
Borough councillors agreed to the new arrangement at a One Corby Policy Committee in March and the sessions will now be held on the third Monday of every month, from 10.30am until 2pm. The new service is part of nationwide changes by the legion to make its welfare services more accessible and Corby Cube is one of several new outreach locations in the county where help and advice will be offered. Cllr Tom Beattie said: “We welcome the Royal British Legion to the Corby Cube. Their clinics will allow serving members of the Armed Forces now and in the past, and their families, to access support and advice more easily.” For more details call 0808 8028080.
