A man was assaulted as he delivered leaflets in Greatmeadow, Rectory Farm, Northampton, yesterday afternoon.

The man, 22, was delivering the leaflets at about 12.30pm on Wednesday, November 5, when he was approached by four men who were walking three small dogs, which bit him.

The four men then shouted racial abuse at the victim and began assaulting him.

The victim, whose face was cut and bruised, managed to get away from the offenders and run away.

All four offenders were white men, aged between 18 to 40 and between 5ft 2in and 5ft 6in tall.

One wore a green T-shirt, another a grey jacket and another a jacket.
