The Kettering park announced last year that the ride, which has been operating since 1982, would have to close due its age and increasingly high maintenance bills.

And earlier this year it ran a competition to find 32 lucky people who would get to clamber aboard for the final ride.

This will take place at 11am on Monday, October 31, and will include some who remember the first ever ride, while others will be in fancy dress.

There will also be staff who have worked on the ride over the past 35 years who wanted to take one last trip.

In addition the park will be unveiling details of the ride which will replace the pirate ship – a wave swing.

So if you want to take one last trip on the old girls, you’ve only got a couple of days left!

You can send us your pictures of yourselves next to the ships by emailing, Tweeting us or posting on our Facebook page.
