A woman from Kettering has created a top out of pink loom bands to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.
Kelly Bull, 25, has made a pink loom band top to raise awareness and vital funds for Breast Cancer Care – the only UK-wide specialist support charity for women facing breast cancer.
It took Kelly, who is a fashion and textile designer and a supply teacher, just over a month and more than 27,000 loom bands to make the unusual garment.
She said: “I work in various schools and every day I see children and teenagers with wrists that are wrapped in dozens of loom bands - they seem to be quite a craze.
“So I decided to set myself the challenge of creating a hand-made, one-off piece of clothing for Breast Cancer Care.
“While I am fortunate not to have lost any family members to cancer I do comprehend how hard it is for so many other families facing this devastating disease.”
